You will join the Transmission & Distribution team.

What will be your responsibilities?

As a T&D (Lead) Engineer, you will support Transmission & Distribution (T&D) companies in the Netherlands and internationally with their network expansions and enhancements. You will collaborate with a range of disciplines in a team because combining process and technical expertise accelerates our clients' projects. Your drive to make an impact and bring projects to life, along with your ability to connect technical knowledge with other areas of expertise, is key.

Main duties:

• Technical client interaction from the initial contact to project completion
• Defining, contributing to, and delivering T&D projects across their lifecycle
• Designing and producing electrical engineering outputs where needed
• Collaborating with (CAD) engineers and technical partners to identify safe, cost-effective T&D design solutions (e.g., for substations, cable, or overhead line connections)

Requirements & Background:

• Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering degree or equivalent qualification (BSc, MSc, or PhD) or relevant T&D expertise acquired during your career
• Experience as a substation and/or plant engineer following international and/or industry standards
• Preparing HV substation primary, control & protection, and/or secondary equipment design outputs, feasibility studies (e.g., earthing, fields, transients), reports, schedules, and cost estimates
• Broad understanding of Transmission & Distribution field & technologies and how technology impacts Power Grid operation and performance
• Familiarity with international T&D standards, methodologies, and software tools (e.g., Revitt, Elcad, Primtech, AutoCAD, PS CAD, etc.)
• Demonstrated success in safely delivering, engineering, and designing projects within budget, time, and quality parameters to meet customer expectations
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external parties while operating within a robust (international/diverse) team-oriented culture
• Experience in creating clear and concise documentation and reports

Additional Information:

• Knowledge of Dutch (or willingness to learn) is beneficial
• Minimum 10 years of solid experience required for the Lead Engineer role
• Proven mentoring skills for Lead Engineer are advantageous
• Candidates with limited HV transmission expertise but a strong MV distribution background are encouraged to apply
