Let's paint the picture of the role:Are you ready to provide expert technical service and ensure exceptional paint quality? We are seeking a skilled professional to offer technical advice on paint specifications and applications, ensuring all parties understand and meet the required standards. This role serves a diverse customer base, including civil and commercial sectors, heavy focus on protective coatings and renewable industry.
Responsibilities:- Conduct inspections to ensure paint is applied under acceptable conditions and according to specifications.
- Provide technical advice and information on products as requested.
- Liaise between International Paint, the Account Executive, customers, clients' representatives, and contractors.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is available before meetings and project commencements.
- Advise on paint specifications and provide recommendations for preparation and application.
- Complete reports accurately and promptly, maintaining a daily logbook of all site and project details.
- Coach and train TSR colleagues as required.
- Assist with product testing and trials as required.
- Comply with technical service-specific company HSE rules.
- Represent International Paint's position in disputes and issue disclaimer letters when necessary.
- Represent the company professionally and ethically at all times.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical service, applicator supervisory, or QC environment.
- NACE or FROSIO qualified (Preferably level 3).
- Strong technical knowledge of protective coatings.
- Understanding of inspection skills and procedures.
- Experience in the coating industry, specifically methods of surface preparation and coating application.
- Attention to detail to ensure compliance and quality.
- Ability to make independent decisions and organize work.
- Strong customer focus and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Diplomatic and able to resolve conflicts fairly and objectively.
- Proficient in IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Full EU driving license.
