Manufacturing Engineer :Assembly

Responsibilities:

• Drive operational excellence through problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership.
• Focus on customer needs, continuously improving workplace activities and empowering employees.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, workflows, and equipment.
• Work on innovative processes to contribute to the factory of the future.
• Transfer new products to mass production by developing efficient and risk-aware manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with Site Manufacturing Engineering and other stakeholders.
• Diagnose equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and develop sustainable solutions.
• Oversee operator instructions, critical parameters, checklists, and training materials.
• Recommend processes, technical expertise, and tooling for production optimization.
• Lead process development through parameter optimization and experimental trials.
• Work with various teams to define requirements and introduce new innovations.
• Lead continuous improvement projects at the department level.
• Represent Operations in multi-disciplinary teams and introduce new products from Development to Operations.
• Specify operational requirements to support production.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (preferably mechanical engineering).
• Strong willingness to learn and improve assembly processes and production operations.
• Ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations.
• Expertise in root cause analysis.
• Experience in leading problem-solving and project management in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and improvement techniques is a plus.
