About You and This Role

Are you an analytical thinker who can transform numerical challenges into profitable precision? We are seeking aPricing Coordinatorto excel in the dynamic world of Polyurethanes, bringing robust analytical skills to the forefront. This role is based in either of the following locations:Terneuzen (Netherlands), Milan (Italy), Tarragona (Spain), Navi Mumbai (India)orWiesbaden (Germany).

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of pricing operations and a proven track record in SAP operations, with an emphasis on customer service and pricing transactions.

Your organizational prowess will be crucial as you oversee pricing structures and liaise with cross-functional teams. This role requires a meticulous approach to data analysis and the capacity to effectively communicate findings and strategies to stakeholders.

We are in search of a professional who is not only theoretically proficient but also practically skilled in managing intricate pricing scenarios within a high-paced business environment. This role extends beyond mere numbers; it's about being the critical junction where business acumen converges with operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Pricing Procedure Owner: You will maintain the Business Pricing Procedure documentation with regular reviews and updates with stakeholders. You will work with Customer Managers, the Pricing Team, and Product Managers to clear billing blocks created from manual (or missing) price entries. You will also provide business pricing training to Commercial and involved functions.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: You will analyze sales data, pricing metrics, and financial reports to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies. You will generate regular reports and insights to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for optimization. You will identify improvement opportunities through QN analysis and monitor discount requests, extensions, and expirations.
• Compliance and Risk Management: You will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (SOX and others) related to pricing and identify and mitigate potential risks associated with pricing decisions and strategies.
• Focal Point for Pricing Tools and Price Related Topics: You will interact with the corporate team to roll out new pricing tools ( Smart Price, AI Price, Chat Price, ...) and act as first & second level support for pricing issues. You will maintain business data within pricing tools, such as, assignment of price records following organizational changes.
• Continuous Improvement: You will continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing strategies and adjust as needed to optimize profitability and competitiveness. Participate in projects related to pricing and process excellence.
• Your First 90 DaysYou will familiarize yourself with our pricing procedures and tools, and start clearing billing blocks created from manual (or missing) price entries. Additionally, you will start maintaining Business Pricing Procedure documentation and Price approver documentation.
• Your First 6 MonthsYou will start generating regular reports and insights, and identify improvement opportunities through analysis. You will also ensure SOX compliance in view of pricing related topics.
• Your First YearYou will be fully involved in all aspects of the role, including acting as a focal point for pricing tools and price-related topics, and participating in projects related to pricing.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, communication, flexibility, and organizational skills
• Understanding of pricing methodologies and financial concepts
• Strong operational background with SAP knowledge in order and pricing transactions
• Project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Inquisitiveness coupled with the desire to continually improve systems, platforms, processes, etc.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in customer service

Additional Notes

• This role requires an individual who can improve pricing procedures focusing both on user experience and reduction of manual pricing. The candidate should be capable of creating work processes and participating in projects related to pricing.
• There is no Visa / relocation supported for this role.
