What you'll do

As a mathematical modelling practitioner in research:

  • You perform an assessment on the potential gain of parallel processing of different tasks of a HUE controller.
  • You will simplify the results of the assessment into simple rules that can be implemented in lamp software.
  • You participate in an R&D project to:
  • embed your results in future lamp designs,
  • link the results to the hardware design,
  • help optimizing the total chain of hardware design and process optimization.

Your qualifications

  • You like to apply your knowledge to push the boundaries of technology in a multi-disciplinary team
  • You are on the way to getting an engineering degree (MSc in mathematics or industrial engineering)
  • You have an analytical mindset. You are able to zoom-in into details while being able to zoom-out and engage in higher abstraction level discussions.
  • You are capable of identifying key features of complex systems/processes. You are creative and think out-of-the-box.
