The Finance Manager will be responsible for accounting, internal controls, financial planning and statutory compliances. You will also coordinate with the parent company for consolidation purposes and will act as the main contact for Finance related matters in the country.

The adventure motorcycles - Himalayan adventure tourer and the Scram 411 ADV Crossover, and the iconic Bullet 350. Riders and a passionate community are fostered with a rich profusion of events at a local, regional and international level. Most notable are Rider Mania, an annual gathering of thousands of Royal Enfield enthusiasts in Goa, and Himalayan Odyssey, a yearly pilgrimage over some of the toughest terrain and highest mountain passes.

Description

  • Provide financial insights to help deliver operational and strategic goals of the business.
  • Provide assistance in the initial set up of the European subsidiary and overseas branches.
  • Oversee preparation of Monthly Finance related MIS & Adhoc reports ensuring achievement of financial and operating targets.
  • Provide assistance to business to setting up of sales and marketing operations in various European countries including agreements, floor financing arrangements, warehouse costs.
  • Monitor and prepare regular cashflow forecasts and maintain banking relationships.
  • Work proactively with Taxation to support tax compliance for direct and indirect taxation ensuring compliance with tax regulations in Netherlands and rest of Europe.
  • Oversee Risk Management and Insurance Management.
  • Provide financial planning and analysis for Europe sales and marketing operations.
  • Production of annual budgets and monthly rolling forecast for the European Subsidiary.
  • Support business on timely PR approvals, due diligence process, pricing approval decisions, timely payment, MIS reporting, billing matters.
  • Maintain and Review price walks for European markets and producing pricing presentations for management approval.
  • Maintain Regulatory compliance with respective all applicable EU regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to all statutory and internal management reporting requirements.
  • Ensure completion and review of tax returns for VAT & Corporation tax.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with Marketing Managers to aid in Budget management and recording of committed spend.
  • Support the implementation and process optimisation of new and existing systems to get accurate and timely data.

Profile

The ideal candidate recognises her or himself in the following description:

  • A degree in Finance or Accounting, preferably RA/CA/CPA qualified
  • 3+ years of Managerial experience
  • Experience in SAP modules
  • Experience in company set up and working with an overseas manufacturing company
  • Experience within the automotive industry
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
