Momenteel zoeken wij enthousiaste stagiairs voor de afdeling Centre of Excellence Cell Culture binnen Operations, onderdeel van J&J Innovative Medicine (voorheen Janssen Biologics).
De stageperiode start in september 2024 en je bent voor minimaal 6 maanden beschikbaar.

Je volgt een opleiding (HBO of WO) in de richting Biotechnologie, Chemische (process) technologie of HLO (of vergelijkbare richting). Daarnaast ben je positief ingesteld en in staat om zelfstandig te werken. Bovendien worden andere talenten, ontwikkeld door middel van extra-curriculaire activiteiten zoals bijbanen of verenigingswerk, zeer op prijs gesteld.
Verder beschik je over:

- Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden
- Spreekt vloeiend Engels en bij voorkeur ook Nederlands
- Beschikbaar voor 32 tot 40 uur in de week
Je gaat werken in het Cell Culture (upstream) team van de afdeling en krijgt de keuze uit verschillende onderwerpen. Binnen de upstream afdeling word cell cultuur stapsgewijs opgewerkt totdat ons product geproduceerd en opgevangen is. Tijdens al deze stappen worden veel verschillende soorten productie equipment gebruikt en worden deze aan de hand van kritische parameters continu gecontroleerd.
Tijdens jouw stage ga je in het upstream landschap werken aan de reliability van het equipment, data vergaring of vergelijking, nieuwe technieken of verschillende verbeter initiatieven die ons productie proces verder optimaliseerd.
Je zal begeleid worden door een manufacturing process specialist en krijgt de kans om bij te dragen aan de productie van innovatieve geneesmiddelen.
Bij Johnson & Johnson MedTech werken we ook aan het oplossen van de meest urgente uitdagingen in de gezondheidszorg. We richten ons vooral op chirurgie, orthopedie en oogzorg. Met onze innovaties op het snijvlak van biologie en technologie ontwikkelen we de volgende generatie slimmere, minder invasieve behandelingen op maat van de patiënt.
We zijn gevestigd In Leiden met een productiefaciliteit voor borstimplantaten. In onze Groningse en Eindhovense vestigingen ontwikkelen en produceren we intra-oculaire lenzen en oogheelkundige operatiesystemen en vanuit onze Amersfoortse organisatie bedienen we de Nederlandse ziekenhuizen met onze medisch-technologische producten en diensten.
Om bij Johnson & Johnson stage te lopen is het verplicht om gedurende de gehele periode van de stage ingeschreven te zijn bij een Nederlandse onderwijsinstelling (universiteit of Hbo).
