Als Mechanical Engineer kom je ons R&D-team versterken en werk je samen met je collega's aan het (door-) ontwikkelen van producten in de hightech industrie. Onze R&D- afdeling is verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen van nieuwe producten en het door-ontwikkelen van bestaande producten met een hoogtechnologisch karakter. Je bent betrokken bij het hele proces vanaf het opstellen van de ontwerpeisen tot aan het ondersteunen van de productieafdeling na vrijgave van het ontwerp. Je onderhoudt contacten met het Engelse moederbedrijf, klanten, leveranciers en de collega's van interne afdelingen.

Wie zoeken wij?
Een ontwikkelaar met een brede technische interesse die zich thuis voelt in een multidisciplinaire omgeving waar je zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werkt.

Taken/verantwoordelijkheden:
  • Je ontwikkelt mechanische constructies ten behoeve van nieuwe en bestaande producten in een projectteam, rekening houdend met veiligheid, maakbaarheid, betrouwbaarheid, onderhoudsvriendelijkheid en de kosten;
  • Je ontwikkelt testopstellingen en voert testen uit ter ondersteuning van ontwerpbeslissingen;
  • Je verricht experimenten en verzorgt de begeleiding van ontwikkelde apparatuur tijdens externe testopstellingen om te voldoen aan internationale wet- en regelgeving;
  • Je stelt voorschriften op (tekeningen, testspecificaties, afregelprocedures) en montage-instructies ten behoeve van product en productieproces;
  • Je begeleidt proefproducties en draagt kennis over naar de afdelingen Productie en Kwaliteitsbeheer Productie;
  • Je verzorgt de verslaglegging van de ontwerpwerkzaamheden en rapportages van testen.
Een afgeronde HBO opleiding in de studierichting Werktuigbouwkunde of Mechatronica (of je hebt deze kennis door ervaring verkregen). Daarnaast ben je communicatief vaardig, creatief, inventief en je hebt een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift.

Competenties: analytisch denkvermogen, nauwgezet, initiatiefrijk/oplossingsgericht, besluitvaardig.

Aantoonbare ervaring of affiniteit met:
  • Minimaal 3 tot 5 jaar werkervaring als mechanical engineer / constructeur / tekenaar-constructeur;
  • Werken in een mechatronische omgeving;
  • 3D CAD-programma's (Autodesk Inventor is een pré);
  • Het ontwikkelen van fijnmechanische constructies en/of instrumenten voor kleine tot middelgrote series;
  • Moderne verspanende en niet-verspanende productiemethoden;
  • Werken volgens geldende regels en procedures.
