ETL DevOps Engineer

ING Tech Netherlands is building a state-of-the-art Data Lake. An ambitious project where we use automation, ETL patterns, modelling methods and high-speed databases.
As DevOps engineer you will be responsible for setting up an end-to-end data pipeline. You will be responsible for the analysis of the data and the build of the physical model at the various stages of the data pipeline. Translating requirements from our business users to ETL products. Where next to Modeling and building ETL patterns you will also be responsible for testing, deploying and data quality checks.
Your activities start at analysis and end at operations. As such you are a true DevOps engineer
The team
As a DevOps engineer you will be working in a scrum content squad of 6-8 people consisting of three or four other DevOps engineers and two or three Business Analysts. In addition, there will be a Product Lead who is responsible for the backlog. Each data content squad is responsible for their own set of sources from the extraction of the data, either in real-time or through batches, to the delivery of Data applications in databases and make it available for Reporting tools and query usage for end users. Agile maturity is required for each team member since we don't have a Scrum Master.

Required
Experience with ETL toolingData Modelling understanding like, but not limited to Data Vault and Dimensional modellingOracle, SQL Server or similar database knowledgeSQL languageScripting language like Bash, PowerShell, Python or similarFluent communication skills in EnglishPreferredRepository technology like GIT or similar version control systemExperience with pipelines architecture (CDAAS) like Azure pipelinesReporting tools like, but not limited to Cognos Analytics, Power BIETL suite or cloud based ETL like, but not limited to IBM InfosphereEnd-to-end delivery of data integrationBoth development and operations rolesAgile development (SCRUM, Kanban)Experience with working in a multidisciplinary team in an agile environment.Experience with scheduling tool like UAC or TWS-DBachelor or Master related to ITRewards and benefits
