STERIS is een toonaangevende wereldwijde leverancier van producten en diensten die de patiëntenzorg ondersteunen, met de nadruk op infectiepreventie. Voor de locatie in Venlo is Steris is per direct op zoek naar een ervaren Group Leader Validation.

In deze functie geef je leiding geven aan 3 validation engineers. Als persoon ben je geïnteresseerd in de techniek en vooral sterk cijfermatig onderlegd.

Wat zijn je taken/verantwoordelijkheden en hoe werkt het proces?

Er moet een analyse en calculatie gemaakt worden voor de juiste temperatuur en de aantallen dosis EO (Ethylene Oxide) en hoeveel rondes er eventueel nodig zijn om het product (met verpakking) te steriliseren (= alle bacteriën te doden)?

Vervolgens moet hij/zij een proefopstelling laten maken door de opbouwers. Je geeft dan advies over de temperatuur en het aantal keren dat het proces moet worden uitgevoerd. Je draait testen en voert berekeningen uit om het proces te valideren. Je bespreekt het met de klant en uiteindelijk werk je toe naar het meest optimale proces = finetunen totdat er een standaard protocol is voor deze klant. Het protocol dient uiteraard altijd te worden afgetekend door Q&A. Door middel van dit protocol weten de operators wat ze moeten doen en Q&A monitort het proces dat moet worden gevold voor deze klant.

Mocht er toch een afwijking optreden of ontstaan dan zal er met de klant en Q&A opnieuw om de tafel worden gezeten om het weer gevalideerd te krijgen. Q&A bepaalt uiteindelijk of het kan worden vrijgegeven.

Je moet goed kunnen uitleggen aan de klant wat je doet en hoe het werkt. Ook intern (de opbouwers, operators en je manager) moet iedereen weten welke stappen en processen moeten worden opgevolgd.

Kortom je bent als Group Leader Validation de spin in het web van de EO (Ethylene Oxide) processen op de Venlo plant.

Functie-eisen
  • Een afgeronde HBO opleiding Chemie of Wiskunde en geinteresseerd in Chemische processen.
  • Voorlopleiding MBO moet bestaan uit Natuurkunde, Wiskunde en Scheikunde. (De processen hoeven niet direct bekend te zijn (brengen ze je graag ter plekke bij maar je moet wel de interesse en het leervermogen hebben).
  • Voor deze functie is het van belang, goed overzicht te kunnen houden over de onderliggende processen tijdens diverse validatie momenten richting een standaard protocol.
  • Sterk cijfermatig zijn is een must voor de analyses die gemaakt moeten worden als een nieuwe klant met een nieuw product komt.
Competenties
  • Je kunt zelfstandig werken en bent geinteresseerd in de techniek.
  • Ervaring in het leiding geven is vereist.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden

Bij onze opdrachtgever is er volop ruimte voor eigen inbreng en ontwikkeling. Je kan rekenen op een gedegen inwerktraject en het volgen van opleidingen en trainingen. Naast een marktconform salaris, afhankelijk van ervaring, zijn er overige arbeidsvoorwaarden als 8% vakantiegeld en een vakantiedagen regeling met de mogelijkheid tot het kopen van extra dagen. Verder een bonus van 5% over het jaarsalaris, laptop en telefoon, een reiskostenvergoeding en een collectieve pensioenregeling.
