De Senior Operations Manager voor Cytiva in Medemblik, Nederland is verantwoordelijk voor de efficiente werking van onze afdelingen, waaronder Interne Logistiek, 2D/3D, Assemblage, Externe Logistiek, Kwaliteitscontrole en Inkomende Goederen. Door uitstekend leiderschap wordt een team van managers en medewerkers gecoachd om tot optimale prestaties te komen.

Deze functie maakt deel uit van het Operations-leiderschapsteam dat is gevestigd in Medemblik, Nederland. Bij Cytiva is onze visie om toekomstige therapeutica van ontdekking tot levering te bevorderen.

Wat ga je doen:

• Coach en begeleid het team van Value Stream Leaders (6) en stuurt indirect 400 medewerkers aan om optimale prestaties te komen;

• Ontwikkel en implementeer strategisch beleid en bereik gestelde doelen (Veiligheid, Kwaliteit, Levering, Voorraad, Productiviteit - SQDIP) voor de Operations-afdeling en zorg voor afstemming met algemeene organisatorische processen

• Identificeer verbeterpunten bij processen, initieer en prioriteer verbeteringsvoorstellen en leid of neem deel aan gerelateerde projecten

• Zorg voor naleving van kwaliteits-, logistieke en technische normen en los eventuele afwijkingen op door passend management te bieden

• Verzamel en analyseer gegevens op strategisch niveau, rapporteer periodiek over de voortgang en geef input voor het organisatiebeleid terwijl je zorgt voor de implementatie en periodieke evaluatie ervan

Wie je bent:

• In het bezit van een bachelordiploma in engineering of bedrijfskunde

• Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in een leidinggevende functie of het leiden van teams om succesvol bedrijfskritische initiatieven te bereiken

• Luistert naar en reageert op de behoeften van externe en interne klanten, past kritisch denken toe en ontwikkelt nieuwe ideeën

• Zet strategie om in actie, is een voorstander van continue verbetering en levert duurzame resultaten op om te winnen in onze markten

• Onderzoekt, herkent en begrijpt de belangrijkste elementen van problemen en hun correlatie

Het zou een pluspunt zijn als je ook ervaring hebt in:

• Een bedrijf op het gebied van biowetenschappen binnen een operationele rol

The Senior Operations Manager for Cytiva at Medemblik, Netherlands is responsible for the seamless operation of our departments, including Internal Logistics, 2D/3D, Assembly, External Logistics, Quality Control and Incoming Goods. Through leadership excellence, they will coach a team of Mangers and associates to achieve optimal performance and professional growth.

This position is part of the Operations leadership team located in Medemblik, Netherlands and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Coach and guide direct reports and Value Stream Leaders (6) and indirectly manage 400 employees to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and implement strategic policies and achieve goals set (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity - SQDIP) for the Operations department and ensure alignment with the overall organizational processes.
• Identify areas for improvement within processes, initiate and prioritize improvement proposals, and lead or participate in related projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality, logistical, and technical standards and resolve any deviations by providing appropriate management.
• Collect and analyze data at a strategic level, report on progress periodically, and provide input for organizational policy while ensuring its implementation and periodic evaluation.

Who you are:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in the sciences or business administration field.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in a managerial role or leading teams to successfully work on and achieve business-critical initiatives.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed business goals set in a fast-paced operations environment.
• Listens and responds to external and internal customer needs, applies critical thinking and develops breakthrough ideas.
• Turn strategy into action, advocate continuous improvement and deliver sustainable results
  to win in our markets.
• Investigates, recognizes and understands the most important elements of issues and their
  interrelationships.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• In a life sciences company within the operations role
