Benelux Regional Financial Controller –

We are seeking a Benelux Regional Financial Controller for Adevinta Benelux reporting directly to the Senior Financial Controller & Director Regional Controlling. This is a hybrid role (2-3 days in the office) and the office is based in Amsterdam.
What you'll do
The Benelux financial controlling team (3 people) is responsible for a broad range of Controlling activities in Benelux, very well connected with local teams (FP&A, legal, HR) as well as the Central Regional Controlling team in Amsterdam, Central Functions in Barcelona and Shared Services in Romania and India.
The main goal for this role is to support the Controlling team closing process around revenues and cost, Trial balance reviews, audits, reconciliations, intercompany process and other local processes.
Your responsibilities will be:
Delivery of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closings by working closely with all internal and external Financial Controllers and Analysts Onestream and SAP S4 HANA reporting Revenue controlling & accountingTrial Balance review and flux analysisControlling and posting of Allocations and cross chargesProject accountingLocal statutory reporting and auditsLiaise & report to local authorities on local required reporting and submissions.You be part of the team of 2, you will report directly to the Senior controller in Benelux.Who you are:
You have earned a bachelor or master's degree in the areas of Controlling or Finance & Accounting.Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting and/or controlling role, preferably in an international global environmentKnowledge of IFRS & Dutch GAAPExtended experience in working with accounting software (SAP S4 HANA preferred);Fluent in English, both written and spoken-
