About the role
To strengthen our Digital Business Solution team, we are looking for Data Engineer's in our Digital Product team for Business Performance (analytics).
Things you can expect to do in this role, but not limited to:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, business representatives and data architect to understand the business and data requirements and develop data products to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.Monitor and optimize the performance of data processing systems and infrastructure, identifying bottlenecks and implementing optimizations to improve efficiency and scalability.Document data pipelines, workflows, and system architectures, and provide knowledge sharing and training to enable other team members to understand and utilize data engineering tools and processes effectively.Assess business requirements for completeness and accuracy and determine if requirements are actionable for ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Load). Work with business/solution owners to close issues and gapsLead the development and validation of data integration (ETL) pipelines needed to ingest/transform data to and from transactional systems and warehousesDevelop communication content (e.g., release notes) in line with the business needsBe responsible for all aspects of integrating, and processing data, including associated data modelling.About youYou are curious to explore, eager to learn and energized by sharing. You are IT savvy and enjoy working within IT environment. As such, you are able to build trustful relationships with stakeholders and business partners.Knowledge, capabilities and motivationAs the ideal candidate we expect you to have minimum of 3 years of data integration experience and the following capabilities:
Extensive knowledge of GIT as a source control systemExperience working with Data Bricks & SparkExperience in ingesting raw files in cloud native data platform .Proficiency in authorization model Azure.Setting up authorisation and access control and making sure that the data pipelines are secured.Extensive Knowledge of SQL and PythonExtensive experience working in agile project environmentsExperience in working with building data products on Azure using tools such as data bricks and synapse.Proficiency in building ETL pipelines from structured data sources and data warehousing and big data processingExtensive knowledge of Data Management concepts. Technical knowledge in database design, data models, and segmentation techniquesStrong problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutionsMore Information
