As a Front End Innovation Manager (Marketing) you will be asked to lead the upstream part of value creation for impactful innovations that will shape the future of coffee and tea.
For this, we don't just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you'll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said, we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:
- Lead the full Front End Innovation cycle for identified strategic Innovation challenges to handover to the teams that will execute it and bring it to market
- Identify meaningful consumer insights and articulate ideas into fully fledged concepts
- Manages senior stakeholders in key innovation forums and Marketing community Manage high level of complexity of Innovation, encompassing multiple categories, brands, markets, technologies and functions
- Guides agency partners on the whole value creation stream
- This role will involve working from both our Amsterdam and Utrecht offices.
QualificationsWe are looking for a passionate and agile innovator with a strong focus to results. Someone who is not afraid to try and are ok to fall, learn from it and keep trying until they get it right. Someone that holds themselves accountable and doesn't shy away from responsibility. Given the nature of the role we feel it's important for you to have a certain level of experience in marketing and with product innovation as well as a solid understanding of your own added value. We thrive in diverse teams and look for people that appreciate that as much as we do. We can give you a list of "must haves," however that's not how we view your candidacy. We do, of course, take into consideration how much experience you have with innovation and marketing but ultimately, we look at the bigger picture. But to give you a bit of guidance as to what we feel is needed in this role, we'll share our "nice to have" list with you:
- At least 10 years of Marketing experience in FMCG, with experience in Innovation and Brand
- A curious growth mindset that enjoys to explore, discover and (re)create
- Experience in idea development and concept writing
- Problem solving attitude, with resilience to keep trying until you get it right
- Political agility to manage with confidence above and across
- Spoken and written English at professional proficiency level
