About the role?

CBRE Capital Markets is seeking a Junior Analyst for our European Living Investment team. This dynamic and high-impact pan-European role based in Amsterdam offers an exceptional opportunity to join the world's leading real estate advisory firm.

As part of our pan-European sector team, you will work alongside 70+ investment specialists across 20+ countries focused on the fastest growing sector in Real Estate. You will be advising investor clients across the risk spectrum, from sovereign wealth funds and pension funds, to the largest global investment managers and private equity firms.

The role offers exposure to all elements of real estate transactions, from deal sourcing, market research and asset analyses, to valuation, underwriting and execution, investment marketing, due diligence and negotiation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting internal and external presentations and memoranda;
  • Market and asset analyses, including sourcing of comparable reference transactions;
  • Real estate valuation including creating and using financial (cash flow) models;
  • Supporting business development efforts, tracking CBRE and market transactions;
  • Aggregating European market data and translating into useful intel for our local teams;
  • Organization of internal and external meetings, sharing meeting take aways with the team;
  • Execution of live real estate transactions, both sales and acquisitions, debt and equity.

What do you have to offer us?

  • Master degree in Finance or other business related field;
  • Prior (internship) experience in a transaction driven environment;
  • International experience, through an exchange or internship abroad;
  • Fluency in any other European languages;
  • Excellent communication skills and is comfortable working in virtual teams;
  • Cross-cultural awareness and ability to align different perspectives towards a shared goal;
  • A commercial and problem solving mindset focused on client needs;
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders constructively;
  • Ability to maintain overview, prioritize effectively under time pressure and handle ad-hoc requirements;
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with meticulous attention to detail;
  • Excellent proficiency in business English (Dutch is not required);
  • An eagerness to develop along a steep learning curve and focus on continuous improvement;
