Job Opportunity for Mechanics, Machine Assemblers, Automotive Electricians, and Pneumatics Specialists. Our company specializes in modifying trucks, tractor-trailers, vans, and buses for specialized applications, such as municipal or rescue services.

As an Truck Axle Assembler you will be partly responsible for the conversion and modification of truck axles (mainly tractor-trailers).

You will start by disassembling electronic components, followed by hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and then you will remove drive shafts.

If necessary, you will trim the chassis, drill holes, install new supports, all to ultimately build a truck completely according to the customer's requirements.

And this is just a small part of the tasks waiting for you.

Overall, this position requires a broad technical skill set in mechanics:
knowledge of electrical installations, pneumatics, and mechanics.

Experience that makes you a potential candidate may include:
experience as a truck mechanic, agricultural machine mechanic, industrial installation mechanic, heavy equipment (excavators, tanks), etc. Do you have this kind of experience? Then we have work for you

An average working day for you:
You can check the status of your order on your tablet
You investigate what the best solution is. You can always contact the foreman or process engineer for advice
You remove all electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components from the truck and rebuild it after cutting the frame
You make adjustments after an (interim) check by the foreman
You mainly work on assignments yourself, but you also have a lot of contact with your colleagues. For example, during the break and during the department meeting

As a perfect candidate you've got:

Experience in a similar role (machine fitter, mechanic, automotive electrician)
Communicative English language skills
Preferred, but not required, education in machine construction or automotive understanding of technical drawings
Knowledge of automotive electrical and pneumatic systems
Ability to work in a team
High sense of responsibility
