Job DetailsTeam Focus
Serving the public sector is a crucial aspect of ServiceNow's business strategy and future growth plans. As a prominent provider of digital workflows for various government agencies and public sector organizations at national, provincial, and local levels, ServiceNow offers the ServiceNow Protected Platform for the European Union (SPP-EU). This platform aligns with and surpasses the data and security regulations of our EU clients. Additionally, for clients with stringent security needs and highly sensitive data, ServiceNow provides the flexibility to host the platform and suite of workflow applications on their preferred infrastructure, such as on-premise or through hyperscalers IaaS.
In this position, your primary responsibility is to ensure the success of the ServiceNow Protected Platform (SPP-EU) tailored to meet the European Union standards and for self-hosted clients, some of whom are based in Europe. You will play a pivotal role in driving the business growth (currently in hundreds of millions) for both SPP-EU and self-hosted clients. Your tasks will involve collaborating with public sector entities and organizations worldwide to understand their specific needs. You will take charge of the ServiceNow Protect Platform EU environment's roadmap, identifying essential platform features to enhance the services for self-hosted clients. This role also requires you to stay updated on evolving data and security regulations in the EU and among clients in the intelligence and defense sectors. Furthermore, you will have a direct impact on shaping the ServiceNow Platform and range of SaaS applications to better cater to public sector clients.
Under the guidance of the Director of Product Management for Regulated Markets & Public Sector Industry, you will be a key contributor to the team responsible for driving ServiceNow's growth in the public sector domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain insights into the unique requirements and challenges faced by European clients and self-hosted customers, particularly in Europe, defense, and intelligence sectors.
- Collaborate with various teams including sales, legal, security, marketing, and product management to ensure top-notch customer experiences.
- Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for the SPP-EU environment and self-hosted clients.
- Demonstrate accountability for profit and loss.
- Stay informed about competitors' strategies to influence the product roadmap effectively.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Over 12 years of experience in software product management.
- Possess a technical background (e.g., computer science, prior software engineering roles).
- Proficient in English.
- Previous engagement with public sector entities in Europe or the national security sector (US, Europe).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, including business and technical stakeholders.
- Ownership mentality in problem-solving and driving solutions.
- Adaptability to thrive in complex, dynamic, and ambiguous environments.
- Exceptional communication skills, emphasizing clarity and precision in both verbal and written formats.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with hyperscaler infrastructure environments.
- Experience with platform-type products (e.g., PaaS familiarity).
