What will you do?

As Team Lead Farm Management Support (FMS) within Cluster Benelux, you lead a team of FMS Specialists. You report to the Service Support Manager and work closely with various internal and external stakeholders.

In this role you contribute to the success of Lely Centers through coaching, training and ensuring Lely standards.

In addition, you are the point of contact for the Lely Centers for the further development of the Farm Management discipline at the Centers.

Responsibilities:
  • Daily coaching and management of the Farm Management Support team.
  • Establishing team goals in line with company objectives and values.
  • Providing input for the 5-year plan regarding start-ups and service goals.
  • Coordinating capacity and knowledge needs in the field of Farm Management Support.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues and contribute to validation and expert topics.
  • Manage conflict situations within Lely Centers and act as a point of contact for critical issues.
  • Visiting livestock farmers in the Benelux to stay informed of trends, developments and challenges
Tasks:
  • Training and Support
  • Monitoring the quality of support to Lely Centers.
  • Act as a sparring partner for the Lely Center FMS manager.
  • Limiting complaints by increasing knowledge and skills at Lely Centers.
  • Supporting Lely Centers with on-the-job training for FMS employees and certification of FMS employees.
New Product Introductions (NPI)
  • Act as a contact person for Lely International regarding the validation process in the Cluster work area.
  • Ensure the validation of new Lely solutions based on customer criteria.
  • Validating the FMS concept in collaboration with Lely International and customers when carrying out (zero) measurements.
Distribution development
  • Positioning the FMS concept via various communication means.
  • Advise and assist in the development of strategic plans and ensure compliance with;
  • Providing input for the 5-year plan of Lely Centers according to the Lely Global LC manual agreement.
Stakeholder Management
  • Maintain and expand the network with regional and national stakeholders (e.g. feed suppliers and dairies).
  • Attending international meetings at the request of the Service Support Manager.
  • Ensure the correct process for Lely Center requests.
Management and organization
  • Leading the Cluster FMS team and guiding, coaching and motivating employees.
  • Collaborate with proposition managers to organize activities for employees.
  • Organizing tasks and activities within the department and ensuring their implementation.
What do you bring?

You have an agricultural background and excel in communication and collaboration. You can inspire a team and are able to build bridges between the different Farm Management Support departments.

As a systems thinker, you know the work processes, you can communicate them but also improve them where necessary. In complex situations with major interests of different parties, you know how to separate opinions from facts.

You also have:
  • Ability to implement 5-year plans in collaboration with Lely Centers.
  • Leadership and people management skills.
  • Maintains an overview and creates structure.
  • Planning, coordination and organizational skills.
  • Education: HBO working and thinking level.
  • Language: fluent in Dutch and English, French and German is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a (commercial) consultancy position.
  • Available full-time
