Join us for an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of Mother & Childcare/Women's Health products at Philips Avent. We are seeking a talented and motivated AI & Data Science Intern to be part of our dynamic Research & Advanced Development team in the vibrant city of Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The internship/graduation assignment is flexible in duration and in scoping of the exact assignment dependent on the needs of the student as well.

As an intern, you will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge products that impact the lives of parents and their little ones, while gaining firsthand experience in bringing innovations from concept to market.

  • Collaborate with our passionate and highly engaged team to develop and refine AI algorithms for our state-of-the-art baby video monitor platforms.
  • Dive into the analysis of sleep data for infants, and take an active role in enhancing AI models for object detection and sleep state classification.
  • Be a part of a team that thrives on turning groundbreaking ideas into reality, with a focus on creating meaningful and impactful products for consumers

You're the right fit if:

  • Currently pursuing a BSc/MSc degree related to Data Science (Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field).
  • A strong desire to make a difference through innovative product development in the Mother & Childcare/Women's Health sector.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills coupled with a deep-rooted passion for innovation and technology.
  • Proficiency in python, experience with data analysis, algorithm design, machine learning and object detection stack highly desirable (e.g. Pandas, PyTorch, Scipy, Scikit-learn)

A non-stop growth opportunity within Marketing but also within a global multinational company. IN addition, we also want to remunerate you well for the opportunity. This includes:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on your education level and if you need to relocate to The Netherlands. Part-time internships receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation. Should you need to relocate to near our office, we'll offer you a monthly allowance of €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. To be eligible, we'll just ask for the rental contract from your landlord, and your usual home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or 1.5 hours of travel time (for a one way trip).
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €145,- net as a monthly allowance.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
  • The opportunity to buy Philips products at our Philips shop.
