In this role you will:

  • Act as a liaison, providing strategic guidance to governance functions such as Risk Management, IT, and Compliance organization-wide on security matters.
  • Collaborate with security leadership to support or lead the implementation of necessary security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Oversee the design and operation of monitoring and improvement activities to ensure compliance with internal security policies.
  • Support or lead security awareness and training initiatives as needed.
  • Conduct or lead security risk assessments and assist in selecting appropriate controls.
  • Mentor and coach technical leads and engineers in security best practices.
  • Ensure that deliverables meet requirements within the security management framework.
  • Assist in defining security controls for our Connectivity Platform.
  • Optimize operational performance to deliver security controls at an optimal cost.
  • Foster positive relationships with other departments and security teams to garner support for security initiatives.
  • Implement information security controls across the Philips Quality Management System (QMS) in line with policies and standards.
  • Support both internal and external audits and reviews, including identifying and providing mitigation evidence for audit issues.
  • Collaborate with action owners to define action plans and track them to closure.
  • Utilize security-related tools to record, track, and monitor risks and controls effectively.
  • Contribute to security education and awareness activities, with a practical understanding of the latest Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) top 10 and certification advisories.
Functie-eisen

To be successful in the role you need to:

  • Possess experience in the IoT domain, with a focus on software (embedded and/or mobile applications).
  • Have familiarity with Thread Modeling and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of how various business units align with the strategic vision.
  • Understand the business trends influencing security considerations.
  • Exhibit proficiency in leading and managing incident response, security events, violations, and incidents.
  • Have knowledge of security controls and core IT technologies and processes.
  • Excel in documentation and communication.
  • Are familiar with security standards such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and ISO 27001.
  • Have expertise in risk management.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree (BE) or Master's degree (MSc), with relevant security certifications preferred.
  • Possess at least 5 years of work experience, with over 5 years specifically in security domains, including governance, policy & procedures, and security management.
  • Feel comfortable working in a multicultural global organization.
  • Have a background in developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and standards.
