Als structural engineer werk je samen met collega's aan uiteenlopende constructieve projecten in de infrastructuur in binnen- en buitenland. Jouw rol verschilt per project, ons werkveld varieert van planstudies en schetsontwerp tot het toetsen en vervangen van bestaande kunstwerken. Jouw bijdrage in projecten is afhankelijk van de kennis die je al hebt opgedaan en van jouw eigen interesses. Je draagt bij aan het ontwerpen van vaste- en beweegbare bruggen, viaducten, tunnels, (spoor)onderdoorgangen, sluizen en aquaducten in beton, staal en composiet. Naast constructieve werkzaamheden verwachten wij dat een constructief adviseur ook andere rollen binnen het ontwerpproces vervult, van (deel)projectleider tot systems engineer. Op basis van jouw ambities ontwikkel je je tot bijvoorbeeld ontwerp- en projectleider of specialistisch adviseur. Voor onze vestigingen in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Deventer en Breda zijn wij op zoek naar constructieve collega's.
Binnen Witteveen+Bos werken in totaal circa 70 structural engineers aan uitdagende constructieve vraagstukken. Voorbeelden van grote projecten waaraan wij werken zijn de Oosterweelverbinding in Antwerpen, Aanpak Ring Zuid in Groningen en de Blankenburgverbinding bij Rotterdam. Daarnaast werken wij altijd aan meerdere kleinere projecten met constructieve aspecten.
- afgeronde masteropleiding TU Delft civiele techniek (structural engineering) of TU Eindhoven bouwkunde (structural design);
- goede communicatieve vaardigheden en een ondernemende instelling;
- zelfstandige, enthousiaste en collegiale werkhouding;
- goede schriftelijke en mondelinge rapportagevaardigheden;
- kennis van het ontwerpproces, bij voorkeur van systems engineering;
- werkervaring is niet vereist.
