Inverid (since November the new name of InnoValor) is the market leader in NFC technology for mobile identity verification. Companies and governments worldwide use our ReadID software to verify identities remotely and reduce identity fraud. In doing so, we make life easier and more secure. Customers include banks like ING, Rabobank and ASB Bank (New-Zealand), government agencies like UK Home Office and the Danish Digital Agency, and digital online/signature services from itsme, SK ID Solutions and Digidentity.
Inverid is growing rapidly and is entering a new phase in its development, with the opening of international development and sales centres, and the expansion of all development teams. We were the winner of the FD Gouden Gazelle (medium-sized companies) for the fastest-growing company in the Eastern Netherlands and are among the fastest-growing scale-ups in the Netherlands. We are based in the Netherlands (Enschede), with offices in London and Valencia. We currently have 50 employees with 12 different nationalities. The working language within Inverid is English.

As a Test Engineer specializing in integration testing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our mobile and front end applications by conducting rigorous tests that verify the seamless communication between mobile devices, front end systems and our backend systems.
Your expertise in using test tools and your ability to think critically will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Your job

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to verify the integration between mobile devices, front end systems and backend systems

Utilize advanced test tools and methodologies to conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing
- Collaborate closely with software developers, system architects, and product owners to understand system requirements and design test strategies accordingly
- Design and implement test automation frameworks to streamline integration testing processes and improve efficiency
- Identify, document and track software defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution
- Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to achieve higher levels of quality assurance
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies to provide valuable insights and recommendations for improving integration testing practices

You have a university (MSc) or applied university/college (HBO/BSc) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar

Proven experience as a Test Engineer, specifically in integration testing of mobile applications, front end systems and backend systems
- In-depth knowledge of test tools and frameworks, for example like: Robolectric, Espresso, Testcafe, REST Assured or equivalent
- Strong programming skills in languages like Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android), Java, Javascript, Typescript, and experience with test automation frameworks
- Familiarity with mobile platforms (Android and iOS) and understanding of backend system architectures
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester (CTFL-AT) or equivalent is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
- You work at least 2 days a week at the office in Enschede
