Do you get energized from maintaining a safe work environment? Our client, a scale-up dedicated to offshore wind, is looking for a QHSE Engineer.

Function description

In this role, you will help develop, implement, and improve the QHSE management system. Your main responsibilities include ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work environment and maintaining high-quality standards in all our onshore and offshore operations. Your tasks will include:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective QHSE management system.
  • Monitor and enforce safety regulations, conduct regular inspections and audits, and identify hazards and non-compliance issues.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with HR to develop and deliver QHSE training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on improvements, initiatives, and statistical data.


Requirements

We seek a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. You should have at least 3 years of experience as a QHSE Engineer or in a similar role. Key qualifications include:
  • Expertise in risk assessments, audits, and inspections, especially offshore.
  • In-depth knowledge of QHSE regulations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities across all organizational levels.
  • Preferably certified in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

Experience in the Renewable, Offshore, or Maritime industries is a plus.
