Short description

One of our clients is looking for a Dredging Works Manager who can take on the responsibility of the work scope for large Dredging and Reclamation projects.

For this role, the client is looking for someone who can add value to the project by bringing in knowledge of large dredging operations and someone who can comfortable manage the dredging operations.

Function description

Responsibilities:
  • Organizing and supervising the execution of the dredging works for which he is responsible according to the preset planning, budgeting and the applied methods, also observing the standards as to quality, safety and environmental care and with as little risk as possible to persons and equipment
  • Scheduling the deployment of personnel, dredging vessels, auxiliary equipment and subcontractors
  • Ensuring that all legal and contractual requirements are complied with as far as the execution of dredging works is concerned
  • Ensuring that the works assigned are executed safety and without risks for the health, quality and environment, both according to the customer's requirements and those of the company
  • Selecting the most suited staff for executing the dredging works, in consultation with the HR Department


Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Dredging and Reclamation projects
  • Experienced handling Dredge operations with propelled and self-propelled TSHD, CSD
  • Experience with Floating and Sinker Pipeline operations
