Our client, an established global market leader, is seeking an experienced Head of Tax, managing a team of 5, you’ll play an instrumental part of growing and shaping the team and establish tax compliance on a global level. Solliciteer door op de knop \'Solliciteren\' te klikken.What You’ll be Doing:Lead a team of 5 senior tax professionals, supporting their growth and creating a high-performance culture.Ensure the company follows all tax rules globally and locally (including VAT, GST, income tax, and international tax treaties).Help prepare and submit tax returns on time with the regional Tax & Compliance teams.Review tax filings and ensure accuracy.Oversee tax accounting according to IFRS standards.Maintain strong internal controls for tax processes (e.g., J-Sox).Create and implement transfer pricing policies that meet international standards.Work with internal teams and external auditors on transfer pricing documentation and audits.Develop global tax strategies to reduce the company’s overall tax rate.Build a clear tax governance structure and align it with company policies.Identify and manage tax risks in different countries.Help design customs control processes and governance.Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Business teams to include tax considerations in company decisions.Encourage innovation and use of technology in tax processes.Represent the company during tax audits and negotiations.What They’re looking for:Master’s degree in Tax.Professional tax certifications (CTP, ATP, CPA) are a plus.12+ years of tax experience in a multinational company or consulting firm.Deep knowledge of global tax laws, OECD guidelines, and cross-border taxation. xbpjoel Experience in tax planning for mergers and acquisitions is preferred.
