What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the transition from C++ to Rust, ensuring top-tier performance and maintainability.
  • Design scalable back-end architectures supporting AI-powered applications.
  • Optimise data pipelines, handling everything from ETL processes in Python/Bash to PostgreSQL database management.
  • Own AWS cloud integrations (S3, Lambda, EC2) for scalable infrastructure.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with AI engineers, DevOps, and front-end teams to deliver fully integrated solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven Expertise: Skilled in Rust, C++, Python, and Bash.
  • Database Mastery: Strong PostgreSQL knowledge and experience with data pipeline management.
  • Cloud Confident: AWS services like S3, Lambda, EC2 are second nature.
  • Programming Pro: Asynchronous and concurrent programming? You’ve got it covered.
  • Problem Solver: Performance-focused, with a passion for scalability and clean architecture.
  • Communicator: Able to explain technical insights to stakeholders in clear, actionable terms.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with stereo vision or structured light camera technologies.
  • Strong background in linear algebra and optimisation algorithms.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
