Als Technical Implementation Consultant bij

ID-ware , maak je deel uit van het Delivery, Personalisatie & Supportteam dat onder leiding staat van Head of Operations

Ron Pathuis . Samen met je collega’s die allemaal wel eens de rol van Project Manager, Functional of Technical Implementation Consultant invullen, vormen jullie het Deliveryteam dat de PIAM-oplossingen oplevert bij de klanten van ID-ware in Nederland (70% momenteel), maar ook in België, Frankrijk en de UK (30%). Klanten zijn doorgaans grote corporates in allerlei sectoren, maar ook grote “not-for-profits” in zorg en onderwijs. Altijd organisaties waar toegangscontrole belangrijk is.Projecten kunnen variëren van een kleine change zijn van enkele dagen tot een grote internationale roll-out van honderden dagen (er zit vaak wachttijd in) tot permanente ondersteuning op de lange termijn. Een gemiddeld project kent een waarde tussen de 100.000 en 400.000 euro.Als Technical Implementation Consultant ben je dan ook al gauw met 4 tot 5 projecten tegelijkertijd bezig. Het Projectteam bij ID-ware bestaat doorgaans uit zo’n 1 tot 4 mensen aan de kant van ID-ware tot tussen de 3 en wel 20 mensen aan de klantkant. Daar zitten doorgaans een projectmanager, een SME op het gebied van PIAM, security experts, IT-experts voor koppelingen naar andere systemen, functioneel beheerders en gebruikers van facility management of receptie in. Ook een dedicated fulltime projectteam aan de klantkant is geen uitzondering. Zo’n 25% van de projecten loopt via partners, 75% rechtstreeks met de eindklant.Wat ga jij daar doen?Je levert een bijdrage aan alle stappen van het deliveryproces: de klantwens verder specificeren in workshops, uitgaande van de basisoplossingen van ID-ware, vervolgens de configuratie, de installatie, het testen, eventueel ‘rework’ en de ‘go live’ begeleiden. Als alles staat, draag je het project en de klant over aan het Supportteam. Het zwaartepunt ligt bij de stappen na de workshops.In een klein project neem je de rol van (technisch) projectleider op je.Door de compactheid van ID-Ware kun je, naast het werk op projecten, invloed uitoefenen op de productroadmap door goede klantsuggesties en ervaringen vanuit je implementaties te delen met je collega’s van product ontwikkeling.ID-ware

ID-ware is de afgelopen 4 jaar hard gegroeid van 60 naar 120 medewerkers, zowel organisch als door overnames (recent OmniCard in Alphen aan den Rijn en implementatiepartner Cipher10 in de UK).Het Internationale hoofdkantoor en de Sales & Delivery-organisatie voor de Benelux zijn gevestigd in Den Haag. Het R&D-center is gevestigd in Frankfurt, maar het bedrijf beschikt ook over een remote-development-center in Islamabad en een kantoor in Londen.ID-ware heeft zowel on-premise- als SaaS-oplossingen in de markt voor (Physical, d.w.z. Smart Cards) Identity and Access Management. De drie belangrijkste producten zijn: een oplossing voor badge/cardmanagement, een oplossing voor accessmanagement en een oplossing voor visitormanagement. Alle producten zijn gebouwd met de Microsoft stack: Windows, SQL Server, IIS, .NET.De Delivery en Support-organisatie bestaat uit drie teams, het Supportteam, het Personalisatieteam (printen cards met chip) en jouw Deliverteam dat uit 8 collega’s bestaat.Functie eisen

Voor wie is dit interessant? Als je ervaring hebt met software implementaties bij een integrator, maar liever bij een productbedrijf zou werken waar je invloed kunt hebben op de productroadmap, dan is dit jouw perfecte stap Maar ook als je af en toe de leiding op een project wilt pakken, is dit een mooie stap. Wat breng je mee?Je hebt een technische hbo- of wo-opleiding, en dat mag best exotisch zijn. Een aantoonbaar hbo-/wo-denkniveau is van belang (ook zonder diploma), want je moet in deze rol leergierig en snel van begrip zijn.Enige jaren ervaring met software implementaties is fijn, dat mag bij een integrator zijn of bij een softwarebedrijf met een eigen product. Domeinkennis is niet nodig, maar wel de drang om je die eigen te maken.Ervaring met het werken in een projectmatige context met diverse projectmethodieken is fijn (Agile/Scrum, Kanban, Waterval, Prince, etc.).Qua talen zijn Nederlands en Engels een must, “et un petit peut de français, c’est merveillieux”Je bent geen ‘ja-knikker’, zelfredzaam, creatief, kunt improviseren en meebewegen. Je weet je collega’s en klanten mee te krijgen in jouw professionele werkwijze.Je bent sociaal flexibel en kunt aan de klantkant overweg met eindgebruikers, domeinexperts, IT’ers en projectmanagers.Je werkt gemiddeld 1 dag per maand “on site” bij de klant, maar soms ook twee maanden niet, en dan weer een hele week, afwisseling genoeg. De rest van de tijd spendeer je meestal 50/50% tussen kantoor en thuiswerk.Aanbod
