Assistant Accounting Manager

Your Role as Assistant Accounting Manager
As an Assistant Accounting Manager, you are responsible for ensuring a timely and accurate financial administration. You will oversee the Dutch administration and accounting, including related tax obligations. You will support the month-end and year-end closing processes, financial statements, and tax filings, while also serving as the first point of contact within the team. Additionally, you will work closely with the Accounting Manager and contribute to the optimization of financial processes.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and supporting the finance team;
- Managing and reviewing GL accounts in collaboration with the Financial Controller;
- Recording and maintaining fixed assets in the LN database;
- Preparing and monitoring monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings;
- Preparing and reviewing tax filings (including VAT) for the Netherlands;
- Managing Dutch administration and accounting, ensuring compliance with local regulations;
- Assisting with CBS reporting and cash reconciliations;
- Handling ad hoc financial inquiries.
What You Bring:
- A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Business Administration;
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge and experience with financial closings and financial statement processes;
- Experience with Dutch accounting and tax regulations.
