Job Title: Cloud Engineering Team Lead

At CAPGEMINI, we are a global leader in partnering with companies to transform and manage their business by harnessing the power of technology.

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Team Lead to join our Marketing and Communication team. In this role, you will work closely with sector and account teams, as well as our offshore team members, including design, web, social, and campaign support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Mentor senior and lead engineers to foster a high-performance culture within the team.
  • Identify and capture new market opportunities by developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to craft go-to-market strategies, position the company as a leader in cloud-agnostic financial solutions, and raise brand awareness in the industry.
  • Engage with current and prospective clients to understand their needs, deliver tailored cloud strategies, and ensure high satisfaction through solution delivery.
  • Provide technical oversight on high-impact projects, ensuring solutions align with industry best practices and client requirements.
  • Strengthen our cloud-agnostic solutions across Azure Cloud, ensuring flexibility and vendor neutrality in client engagements.
  • Develop training and upskilling programs to ensure the team stays at the forefront of cloud technology, fostering innovation and growth within the group.
  • Support business development efforts by attending industry events, networking, and positioning the company's cloud services to potential clients.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as sales, DevOps, security, and data to ensure smooth integration of cloud solutions with other service offerings.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud consulting, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale teams, including hiring, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Proven success in driving business development initiatives, capturing new market opportunities, and expanding client portfolios.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and delivering solutions in the financial services industry, with an understanding of regulatory and compliance needs.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for innovation.
  • Experience with cloud-agnostic architectures and multi-cloud environments, ideally including hands-on experience with Azure Cloud.
  • Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicating cloud strategies and solutions effectively.
  • Familiarity with business growth strategies and the ability to develop and execute plans that drive market share expansion.
