Over onze klantOur client is a company in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain and they are experts in optimising the use of wooden pallets throughout the petrochemical supply chain.FunctieomschrijvingIn this role as Teamlead you will be responsible for:
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to a team of approximately 20 individuals responsible for pallet capacity management and logistics
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for your team
  • Work closely with regional managers to optimise pallet availability and ensure on-time deliveries to customers
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pallet capacity, delivery times, and service quality
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of a new pallet logistics system
  • Work with technical teams to ensure a smooth integration of the system and provide training to your team
ProfielFor this role as Teamlead
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading and motivating international teams
  • Proven track record of success in a logistics or operations management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, regional managers, and other stakeholders
  • Proficient in English; Dutch language proficiency is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Start date: 1st week of August
  • Contract for 6 months
  • 40h per week
  • Hybrid working (2 days working from home)
