To further strengthen our efforts to effectively remediate customers in our Spanish branch we are looking for an experienced CDD professional who is not afraid of a challenge and has strong analytical skills that can help improve our KYC processes.
Profile:
As a CDD Remediation Analyst, you play a key role in preventing and combatting money laundering and terrorism financing by conducting research into potential integrity risks for our bank. You ensure that the Bank fully understands and assesses all risks associated with our clients. The remediation efforts are focused on both private and business customers who hold different financial products at our bank.
As a CDD Remediation Analyst, you will bring your experience in enhancing compliance and mitigating risks through thorough customer assessments and up-to-date knowledge of AML regulations.
As a part of your role, you will:
• Perform CDD assessments for both Private and Business customers;
• You investigate the activities, the motivation of a customer to bank with us, and the (international) money flows over the account;
• You may need to approach the customer for information to get a complete customer profile to finalize your investigation. This is preferably done by phone;
• At the end of the investigation, you provide advice regarding the integrity and risk profile of the customer.
What you will bring:
• You are fluent in Spanish(must) and English;
• You have at least 1 year of proven experience with KYC, CDD, and AML investigations(Business);
• You are customer-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a team;
• You are analytically strong, work accurately, and have strong execution power;
• You stand firm, dare to form a judgment, and can substantiate it well;
• Preferably, you have a bachelor's or master's degree in management, economics, criminology, law, etc;
• Finally, you value the importance of an inclusive and diverse workplace.
