Head of Facilities – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | NetherlandsWe're supporting the search for a Head of Facilities to lead a growing technical team within a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment. This role suits a hands-on leader who can balance strategic oversight with practical, day-to-day facility operations. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Facilities & IT team, including workforce planning and team developmentOversee all facilities, utilities and maintenance projects, including budgetingManage installation, qualification and maintenance of Class A/B cleanroom environmentsEnsure proper maintenance of equipment, utilities and building systems (HVAC, water, gasses, fire alarms, etc.)Review daily reports and plan technical actions accordinglyOversee qualification activities in line with regulatory expectations; review/approve IO/PQ documentationGuide purchasing and maintenance of equipment and technologyChair or support HSE committee activities to maintain a safe working environmentManage vendor relationships and monitor performanceDevelop and maintain CAPEX plans with department heads RequirementsBSc and 5+ years' Facilities Management experience in the pharmaceutical sectorStrong understanding of GMP and compliance for sterile environmentsIn-depth knowledge of utilities and equipment (HVAC, compressed air, water systems, gasses, etc.)Experience with laboratory equipment and sterile/cleanroom environmentsBackground in Health, Safety & Environmental managementWorking proficiency in DutchService-minded, proactive and comfortable in a hands-on leadership roleAbout Planet Pharma:Planet Pharma is an American parented Employment Business/Agency that provides global staffing services with its head-quarters in Chicago and our EMEA regional office located in Central London.
