We are seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst/Automation consultant to join our team. The consultant will define and execute test cases, develop automated GUI and API tests, and support various testing activities in an Agile SCRUM environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software quality assurance and test automation, with strong expertise in C# or Java.

Responsibilities:

  • Define test cases and report test results.
  • Design, code, and execute automated GUI tests using Selenium WebDriver with C# unit tests.
  • Design, code, and execute functional automated API tests on REST services using C# RestSharp.
  • Define and execute manual test scenarios and scripts for cases difficult to automate.
  • Identify, re-test, and report defects.
  • Support the definition and execution of test plans.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
  • Collaborate within a SCRUM team, participating in Agile methodologies such as Kanban and daily standups

Professional Experience:

  • Mandatory: More than 9 years of total experience AND more than 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance as a Test Analyst and/or Test Automation Engineer.
  • Mandatory: Participation in at least 3 projects requiring GUI and API testing.

Technical Skills:

  • Mandatory:
  • Proficiency in C# or Java for test automation, applying object-oriented techniques, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with Git, including working with pull requests.
  • Expertise in manual regression testing and regression test automation at UI and API levels using frameworks like RestAssured, RestSharp, or WebDriver.
  • Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodology and its practical implementation.
  • Experience in test automation using BDD tools such as SpecFlow or Cucumber.
  • Understanding and application of DevOps best practices, including continuous testing, build and release pipelines.
  • Experience with system and acceptance testing, using dynamic, static, and experience-based test techniques.
  • Desirable:
  • Knowledge of testing with Remote Procedure Call (RPC) frameworks/APIs such as gRPC.
  • Experience in non-functional testing, covering at least one quality characteristic such as ICT technical security, performance, or reliability.
  • Ability to integrate into an international/multi-cultural environment with strong self-starting capabilities and teamwork experience.
