What will you be doing?
As Technical Facility coordinator you are responsible for the day-to-day execution of the facility department tasks. In this role you are the go-to person for requests, complaints, or anything technical facility related for both internal parties as well as the external parties (suppliers) who regularly visit the premises.
Company currently hold 2 offices in Rotterdam (in walking distance of each other); main office, including the cleanroom facilities and logistics area, and our secondary office. Within the offices, warehouse, labs, and - most importantly - the cleanroom area, all tasks are in your span of control, together with the facility technician you ensure a smooth daily operation.
The ideal candidate for this role is very well organized and independent and acts promptly in unexpected circumstances. You know exactly what to do when a door suddenly doesn't open anymore and can fix sudden malfunctions and scheduled maintenance in the least disruptive way for our daily business. This way, you make sure we can adequately perform the experimental-, development- and manufacturing work for the metrology systems.
Specific tasks and responsibilities include:
- Executing the facility plan and coordinating all preventive and corrective maintenance actions on equipment, and coordinating safety and security matters
- Being the main interface towards various suppliers, vendors, landlord and internal stakeholders
- Overseeing & coordinating the realization of a new cleanroom in the foreseeable future
- Collaborate with the Production Operations team to increase efficiency and solve bottlenecks
- Executing lab/cleanroom procedures and implementing and enforcing safety/cleanliness/organization standards
- Coordinating installation of new equipment and facility related services, as well as troubleshoot activities in case of facility and equipment issues
- Writing new and updating existing procedures and manuals
- Coordinating the work of the Technical Facility Assistant
What do you bring to the table?
We are looking for a candidate that already has some years of experience as a Technical Facility Coordinator in a high-tech environment comparable to our Clients. Furthermore, you need to recognize yourself in the following profile:
- A minimum of MBO (vocational) degree in a technical education
- 5+ years of experience in a comparable tech environment
- Available for 32 to 40 hours a week
- A service-minded attitude
- You speak and write both English (minimum level B2), and Dutch is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong internal stakeholder management and communication skills
- A quick learner that enjoys learning on-the-go
- Experience in the semiconductor industry would be a plus
- Cleanroom facility experience would be a plus
- Preferably living in Rotterdam or max. 30-45 min travel distance
