Dynatrace Observability Consultant

Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for observability and performance optimization? In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of Dynatrace-based observability solutions, ensuring high-quality service delivery and providing expert guidance to clients and team members.

The Dynatrace Observability team operates across the Netherlands, UK & Ireland, and Romania, comprising specialists in sales, presales, project management, architecture, consultancy, data analysis, and engineering.

Position

In this position, you are responsible for:

• Design & Implementation – Lead the deployment of Dynatrace observability solutions for performance monitoring and system optimization;
• Architectural Guidance – Provide strategic input to align observability solutions with business and technical objectives;
• Client Engagement – Work closely with clients to develop tailored observability strategies;
• Mentorship – Guide and support junior consultants to enhance team expertise;
• Performance Optimization – Conduct assessments to improve system reliability and scalability;
• Documentation – Maintain detailed records, including architecture diagrams and operational procedures;
• Industry Awareness – Stay updated on the latest trends in observability, monitoring, and cloud technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field;
• 2+ years in observability solutions;
• Experience with additional observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack);
• Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash);
• Familiarity with ITIL and DevOps practices;
• Pré: Certifications Dynatrace: Professional, Services Delivery Observability;
• Excellent teamwork and stakeholder engagement abilities.
