The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within this sector. The department Delivery Operations within Manufacturing is responsible for the assembly and classification of the various machines and modules of the ASML systems according to strict quality standards.Role and responsibilitiesIn this role you will be responsible for adjusting and testing ASML products and solving problems which may occur whilst maintaining the planned delivery times and quality. Makes suggestions for the improvement of products or production processes with respect to both existing and new products. Lay down product, process and measuring data in protocols and databases. Provide support when new products are introduced into the production process; identify and report expected bottlenecks and solve technical problems, if need be in cooperation with other disciplines.Education and experienceA vocational degree in electronics, applied physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering or other relevant fields, with 5 - 7 years of experience. Or a Bachelor Degree in electronics, applied physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering or other relevant fields, preferably with 1 - 3 years of experience.Hands-on experience in a high-tech production or customer service environment, e.g. electronics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering; proven affinity with testing / assembling and troubleshooting is essential.SkillsAbility to work in multi-disciplinary teams within a high-tech environment; Ability to deal with, or even enjoy, high degree of uncertainty and pressure; Independent, pro-active, flexible team player; Analytical: Solving problems; Methodical: Can work according to standard work practices; Assertiveness: In the lead to process engineering and development;Eager to learn and expand skills; Willing to share and train knowledge and skills; Ability to work alone including night shifts;Ability to speak and understand English and/or Dutch;Ability to write procedure comments and transfer documents in English;Other informationPlease note that this is a position in a 5-shift schedule. You will work two mornings from 07:00 am to 15:30 pm, two evenings from 15:00 pm – 23:30 pm and two night shifts from 23:00 pm to 7:30 am. After that you are free for 4 days. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment. Company profit sharing and shift allowance (if applicable) are not included in this range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members.
