We are searching for a true leader, a Chief Medical Officer to lead its translational and clinical development efforts. With a focus on breakthrough treatments for rare and genetic diseases, this organization is advancing a cutting-edge platform technology to address currently incurable conditions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the clinical and translational development strategy, ensuring the successful advancement of pipeline programs into the clinic.
  • Oversee clinical trial design, regulatory submissions, and safety reporting in compliance with global regulatory standards.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders, regulatory bodies, and industry partners to drive innovation and awareness.
  • Build and manage a high-performing clinical development team, ensuring effective collaboration across departments.
  • Present clinical development strategies to stakeholders, including executive leadership and investors.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MD or MD/PhD
  • >8+ years of industry experience in biotech or pharmaceutical settings.
  • Proven track record in translational medicine and early-phase clinical trials (Phase I & II).
  • Expertise in genetic medicine, RNA therapeutics, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of orphan drug regulatory pathways and early-stage development challenges.
  • Experience managing CROs, regulatory affairs, and clinical operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
