For our international client, a global leader in the IT/Software market, we are looking for a Data Centre Technician to join their expanding team in Middenmeer.Wacht niet met solliciteren na het lezen van deze omschrijving; er wordt een groot aantal sollicitaties voor deze vacature verwacht.Job Profile for Data Centre TechnicianResponsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Prepare, stage, setup, and perform startups and shutdowns (e.g., racks, hard drives, switches) according to specific instructions, checklists, guides, standard protocols, and emailsPerform post-execution quality checks and verify that grounding, staging, labelling, and cabling are set up properly according to safety protocols, deployment standards, and planned Network Design Tasks (NDTs)Make diagnostics and troubleshooting following standard procedures, identify quickly the cause(s) of issues, and replace faulty componentsDecommission hardware for simple changes and refreshes (e.g., memory upgrades, OS rebuilds) following standard procedures with minimal guidanceFollow procedures to communicate, report, and escalate incidents to the appropriate Datacenter Technician LeadsCandidate Profile for Data Centre TechnicianMust be fluent in English, both written and spokenHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalentBasic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and componentsUnderstanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)1+ year(s) of experience supporting IT equipment or related technologyFlexibility xbpjoel to work non-standard business hours that may include weekends and/or holidaysPrevious datacenter experience is a plusWhat Our Client Offers27 days of annual leave, including all Dutch public holidaysPension planTravel allowanceWork in a dynamic, international environmentState-of-the-art technology working experienceBe part of a team that is changing the worldSalary: €4341.00 GPM excl. 8.33%
