About The Role:

We seek a Data Architect to join our team and drive the client's transition to a data-driven organization. In this role, you will partner directly with clients to design and implement scalable data solutions tailored to their unique needs. You will analyze current data structures and develop robust strategies for transitioning to a Databricks-based lakehouse architecture. This is an exciting opportunity to shape data strategies and create measurable business value.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored data architectures that drive business outcomes.
  • Evaluate, structure, and enhance client data architectures to meet strategic objectives.
  • Explain complex architectural concepts clearly, engaging stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Build foundational architecture components from scratch, including cloud platforms, Databricks, CI/CD pipelines, Unity Catalog, and more.
  • Lead and mentor teams, delegating tasks effectively to ensure successful project execution.
  • Architect, develop and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure to meet client demands.
  • Collaborate closely with client teams, including product managers, data engineers, analysts, and scientists.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of architecture and transformations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 8 years in the data field (Data Architect, Engineer, Scientist, or Analyst).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP) and proven expertise with Databricks.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of the latest features, with the ability to communicate them effectively.
  • Mindset: A proactive communicator who thrives in client-focused environments, passionate about mentoring and sharing knowledge.
  • Bonus: Fluency in Dutch is a plus.
