This newly created position offers the opportunity to bring consistency, visibility, and efficiency to how we manage third-party risk – balancing strong governance with business agility.You will lead a small team of two professionals and work closely with Legal, Compliance, Quality, Finance, and IT to ensure a coordinated, future-ready framework. This position can be filled either in Copenhagen or Utrecht.ResponsibilitiesThird Party Due Diligence and Risk Management Lead and continuously improve global third-party due diligence and risk management practicesProactively advance how risks are identified, assessed, and monitored across functions and geographiesOversee due diligence activities for new and existing suppliers – covering compliance, financial stability, ethics, data privacy, and GxP requirementsEnsure strong documentation, audit readiness, and alignment with corporate and regulatory standardsOngoing Vendor Risk MonitoringMaintain and strengthen vendor risk management practices through proactive review and monitoringPartner with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate risks related to data security, compliance, and supply continuitySupport escalation and remediation activities with a solution – oriented mindsetESG and Sustainable Procurement Lead Genmab’s vendor ESG and sustainability agenda, integrating sustainability into vendor assessment and decision – makingPartner with the Corporate Sustainability team to define metrics and reporting for supplier sustainability performanceCollaborate with Legal, Compliance, Quality, Finance, and IT Security to ensure cohesive and transparent approach to third-party riskProvide expert guidance to Procurement colleagues on due diligence, ESG, and risk-related topicsRepresent Procurement in relevant internal governance forums and reviewsTeam Leadership and Development Lead and develop a small, high – performance team of two professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growthEncourage innovation, and knowledge sharing across the functionDevelop clear dashboards and reporting to provide leadership with visibility into key risk and ESG indicatorsSupport internal and external audits as neededUphold Genmab’s ethical standards and ensure alignment with the company’s valuesRequirementsBachelor’s or Master's degree in a related fieldMinimum 6-7 years of experience in procurement, compliance, or vendor risk management, ideally withing biotech or pharmaceutical industryExperience leading or improving third – party due diligence and risk management processesWorking knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (FCPA, GDPR, GxP, ESG reporting)Experience with risk or sustainability assessment tools is an advantageStrong business acumen with the ability to balance compliance and agility in a fast – paced, high – growth biotech environmentSolid analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detailExcellent communicator, skilled at building cross – functional relationshipsA pragmatic leader who thrives in a lean, high – performing environmentAbout YouYou are genuinely passionate about our purposeYou bring precision and excellence to all that you doYou believe in our rooted-in-science approach to problem-solvingYou are a generous collaborator who can work in teams with a broad spectrum of backgroundsYou take pride in enabling the best work of others on the teamYou can grapple with the unknown and be innovativeYou have experience working in a fast-growing, dynamic company (or a strong desire to)You work hard and are not afraid to have a little fun while you do soAbout GenmabGenmab is an international biotechnology company with a core purpose to improve the lives of patients through innovative and differentiated antibody therapeutics.
