Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical systems for data center construction projects. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, subcontractors, and quality control while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage electrical installation projects within large-scale data centers.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Coordinate with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes, health & safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Manage procurement and delivery of electrical materials, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays.
  • Supervise site teams and ensure effective communication between project stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise on electrical systems, power distribution, and backup solutions within data centers.
  • Report regularly on project progress, financials, and potential risks to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing electrical projects, preferably in data centers, mission-critical facilities, or large commercial buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, UPS systems, generators, and power distribution.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors, budgets, and schedules effectively.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including IEC, NEC, and local building codes.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar) is a plus.
