For a global market leader, we are seeking a senior finance professional to fulfill a key and high visibility role.De volledige functieomschrijving omvat alle bijbehorende vaardigheden, eerdere ervaring en eventuele kwalificaties die van sollicitanten worden verwacht.General profileReports to Head of Financial Accounting and Reporting.Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in Financial Accounting and ReportingUse best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issuesSolves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutionsInitiates automation using new solutionsWorks independently with minimal guidanceResponsibilitiesEnd of month financial closingPrepare auditor-reviewed financialsPrepare the statutory financial statementPerform full consolidationsPrepare the Director’s reportManage the audit of multiple entitiesMaintain the GL and Chart of AccountsPerform technical accounting analysisInitiate automation using new solutionsEnsure tax & regulatory complianceRequirementsBachelor/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics, supplemented with a post-graduate title (such as CPA, ACCA, RA).Combination of Big 4 and industry experience is desirable.Must be able to communicate and comprehend effectively in English.Minimum of 9 years of progressive work experience in technical accounting, reporting, consolidation, financial statement preparation & external audit coordination.Strong understanding & application of IFRS standards.Strong working knowledge of MS Office, S4/HANA, SAP Central Finance, advanced skills in Excel.Experience with BPC is a plus. xbpjoel Good communication and problem-solving skillsAn excellent market competitive salary and benefits package will be offered to the selected candidate who should possess EU nationality or have Netherlands work permission and currently be based in the country.If you are interested in this opportunity, pleases end your CV with motivation to Shuter Smith International –
