Finance Clerk

About the position:

CrowdLED is looking for a detail-oriented finance clerk to join our dynamic finance team. The finance clerk reports directly to the financial manager and plays a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, and supporting the company's strategic financial planning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing company and work on projects with a significant impact.

Term of Employment:

Hours: 32-40 hours per week

Contract: Fixed-term with the prospect of a permanent contract

Language of Work & Location

Work Location: Utrecht, Netherlands

Languages Required: Dutch (C1) and English (French is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
• Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets.
• Prepare and submit tax forms and documents.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Respond to financial inquiries and assist with budgeting.
• Perform general administrative duties related to the finance department.

Requirements:

• MBO or associate degree Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive financial information.
