Functieomschrijving:

Als Head HR Benelux speel je een cruciale rol in het ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van HR-strategieën die in lijn zijn met de bedrijfsdoelstellingen. Op HR gebied staat nog weinig tot niets. De huidige focus op het Hoofdkantoor in Amsterdam is met name gericht op HR Operations (3). Aan jou de taak om van scratch de business partnering rol op te zetten. Denk hierbij aan primair aan HR richting het hotelmanagement en - personeel. Bijvoorbeeld: leiderschapsontwikkeling, recruitment, faciliteren van cultuurveranderingen, het implementeren van nieuwe procedures en processen, innovatie, etc. Je zal dan ook primair je focus hebben op het personeel binnen de hotels in de Benelux. De hotels hebben stuk voor stuk behoefte aan de ondersteuning op HR gebied. Secundair hieraan is de focus op het HR beleid van het strategische kleine hoofdkantoor. Het mooie is dat je in Amsterdam dicht op het vuur van Directie en andere MT leden werkt.

De onderneming heeft in totaal 300 medewerkers. Het is dan ook een middelgrote onderneming. De nieuwe Head HR Benelux heeft ervaring bij middelgrote ondernemingen, begrijpt deze unieke dynamiek. Hij/ zij weet als geen ander dat het snel schakelen tussen strategie en operatie de enige juiste weg is om te bewandelen. Altijd met structurele oplossingen in het zicht. Het is de vraag of kandidaten met alleen ervaring in grote corporate settings succesvol gaan zijn in deze specifieke setting.

Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de HR Director en geeft leiding aan een team van 3 HR-professionals. Je werkt nauw samen met het senior management om een cultuur van excellentie te bevorderen, talentinitiatieven te stimuleren en HR-processen op te zetten en blijvend te verbeteren ter ondersteuning van de groei en het succes van de organisatie.

Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Ontwikkelen en implementeren van HR-strategieën, -beleid en -programma's die aansluiten bij de bedrijfsdoelen en de behoeften van de Benelux hotels en het Hoofdkantoor.
  • Fungeren als een operationele leider voor alle HR topics binnen de hotels, en zorgen voor afstemming op bedrijfsbeleid en -praktijken.
  • Samenwerken met senior management in de hotels en op het Hoofdkantoor op het gebied van personeelsplanning, werving en behoud van toptalent.
  • Toezien op de effectieve uitvoering van prestatiemanagementprocessen, opleidingsprogramma's en initiatieven voor medewerkerstevredenheid.
  • Advies en ondersteuning bieden aan regionale leidinggevenden bij HR-gerelateerde vraagstukken, waaronder organisatieontwerp, verandermanagement en arbeidsrelaties.
  • Zorgen voor naleving van lokale arbeidswetgeving en implementeren van best practices binnen HR-processen.
  • Leidinggeven aan innovatieve HR-projecten, zoals de implementatie van AI-gestuurde wervingstools, digitale leerplatforms en verbeteringen van HR-systemen.
  • Beheer van HR Operations, waaronder benefits-administratie, veiligheidsprogramma's en welzijnsinitiatieven, in overeenstemming met bedrijfsstandaarden en wetgeving.

Profiel

  • Bachelor in Human Resources, Bedrijfskunde of een gerelateerd vakgebied. Een masterdiploma of HR-certificering is een pluspunt.
  • Plus min 7 - 10 jaar ervaring in HR waarvan de laatste jaren in leiderschapsrollen, in een internationale middelgrote omgeving. Ervaring binnen Hospitality, Zakelijke Dienstverlening en/ of (Food) Retail is een grote pre. Met name het waarde leveren binnen een decentrale organisatiestructuur is een grote pre.
  • Ambitieus om zaken voor elkaar te krijgen en om door te groeien binnen de organisatie.
  • Cultureel en organisatie sensitief.
  • Positieve en energieke persoonlijkheid met een "can do & will do" mentaliteit.
  • Kennis van Belgische arbeidswetgeving en HR-best practices is een bonus.
  • Sterke leiderschaps-, communicatie- en interpersoonlijke vaardigheden, met het vermogen om op alle niveaus effectief samen te werken en te beïnvloeden.
  • Bewezen ervaring met organisatieverandering, het bevorderen van een positieve werkcultuur en talentmanagementprogramma's.
  • Beheersing van meerdere Europese talen is een pré, maar niet verplicht.
  • Bereidheid om 1 keer per week/ per 2 weken te reizen binnen Nederland en België

Salaris op basis van Fulltime: €80-100k + mobiliteitsvergoeding.
