Paulig is een internationale voedsel- en drankenproducent met een breed portfolio binnen verschillende categorieën. Het bedrijf, bekend van het merk Santa Maria, is voornemens om op korte termijn Conimex toe te voegen aan zijn portfolio. De nieuwe Brand Activation Manager krijgt het mandaat om Conimex nog meer te verankeren in de belevingswereld van de consument en bereikt dit met sterke activaties, lanceringen en campagnes.

Over Paulig

Paulig heeft de ambitie om een vormende rol te spelen in de populaire eetcultuur. Deze ambitie sluit perfect aan bij de missie van het bedrijf: 'For a life full of flavour'. Onlangs is met het oog op groeiversnelling de strategie vernieuwd. Paulig wil een van de snelstgroeiende bedrijven in de voedselindustrie worden – en daarbij natuurlijk winstgevend blijven. Daarnaast wil het bedrijf koploper zijn in de sector als het gaat om duurzaamheid.

In Nederland is Conimex, dat naar verwachting vanaf april wordt overgenomen van Unilever, naast Santa Maria het bekendste merk van Paulig. De toevoeging van Conimex aan het portfolio van Paulig past binnen de strategie om vanuit drie strategische groeipilaren – waarvan World Foods er één is – de consument nog meer aan te spreken en daardoor te groeien. De Scandinavische organisatie is actief in dertien landen, met in totaal zo'n 2.500 gepassioneerde medewerkers. De organisatiecultuur is gestoeld op drie kernwaarden: 'Stay Curious', 'Strive for Excellence' en 'Grow Together'.

Bij die laatste kernwaarde draait het niet alleen om groei op professioneel vlak, maar ook om persoonlijke groei. Dit komt bijvoorbeeld tot uiting in de vele kansen die medewerkers krijgen om zich te ontwikkelen op basis van hun eigen interesses. Hoewel de strategische aansturing centraal gebeurt, krijgen medewerkers op nationaal niveau veel ruimte om hun eigen inzichten, ideeën en ervaring in te zetten bij het realiseren van de centrale strategie. Zij zijn immers de experts met kennis van de lokale markt en consument.

Vacature: Brand Activation Manager

De Brand Activation Manager is verantwoordelijk voor de doorvertaling en implementatie van de Global-strategie in diezelfde lokale markt. Zij/hij zorgt daarbij voor optimale consumentenbetrokkenheid en maximale merkrelevantie.

Het omzetten van de overkoepelende marketingstrategie in een duidelijk, lokaal marketingplan op basis van goed financieel inzicht en de aangereikte Category Vision is de hoofdverantwoordelijkheid van de Brand Activation Manager. Maar zij/hij is ook verantwoordelijk voor het implementeren hiervan, waarbij zij/hij tot in de puntjes let op de kwaliteit en prestaties van lanceringen, herlanceringen, campagnes en activaties. Bij de implementatie van het regionale commerciële plan werkt de Brand Activation Manager nauw samen met de Category Manager en Key Account Manager, die gezamenlijk verantwoordelijk zijn voor het commerciële resultaat.

Daarnaast draagt de Brand Activation Manager de verantwoordelijkheid voor specifieke marketingonderdelen, zoals merk- en activatiecampagnes en bijbehorend projectmanagement, het verbeteren van de Return on Marketing Investment en het leveren van inzichten wat betreft consumentengedrag in het retailkanaal. Zij/hij is tevens verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van het mediaplan voor Conimex (in samenwerking met een extern bureau), evenals voor het accorderen van specifieke communicatiekeuzen en doorvertalingen hiervan. De Brand Activation Manager blijft daarbij uiteraard binnen het budget en zorgt ervoor dat de gekozen middelen efficiënt ingezet worden.

Naast marketinginhoudelijke verantwoordelijkheden krijgt de Brand Activation Manager ook een belangrijke rol in het verder professionaliseren en verbeteren van de interne marketingorganisatie. Zo bouwt zij/hij mee aan een toonaangevend competence center door vaardigheden en capabilities in marketingeffectiviteit en shoppermarketing voortdurend te ontwikkelen.

De Brand Activation Manager heeft een sterk zakelijk inzicht, gevoel voor branding en vakinhoudelijke kennis op het gebied van activatie. Zij/hij is analytisch en resultaatgedreven en tegelijkertijd creatief en innoverend. Een lokale marktexpert met een internationale mindset, die niets liever doet dan collega's, partners en consumenten inspireren. Zij/hij neemt initiatief en kan autonoom werken, maar is zeker ook een teamspeler die goed kan overleggen en graag samen succes behaalt.

Een activatiemarketeer met een passie voor merken, campagnes en storytelling en een voorliefde voor meetbaar resultaat is uitermate geschikt voor deze rol. De kandidaat krijgt de kans om direct zichtbaar impact te hebben op de groei van een van de bekendste merken in de Nederlandse schappen.
