Lees de volledige omschrijving hieronder om erachter te komen en aarzel niet om te solliciteren.As a Cost Estimator at N-Sea, you play a key role in preparing comprehensive cost estimates and cashflow forecasts for tenders and ongoing projects. You will support the commercial and project teams by developing detailed and reliable estimates that reflect the full scope of offshore subsea projects across the oil & gas and renewable energy sectors.Your role is vital in ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, and competitiveness — from initial tendering to project execution. You provide detailed cost variations, risk assessments, and cashflow analysis to support management decisions, while also coaching Junior Cost Estimators and contributing to the continuous improvement of our cost estimation methodologies.This position offers an excellent opportunity to combine analytical precision with commercial insight, directly contributing to N-Sea’s ability to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective subsea solutions worldwide.Key Responsibilities:Take part in the tender process of N-Sea, working in line with our ambition and values;Prepare cost estimates based on the Scope of Work and Work Breakdown Structure;Identify and quantify risks as part of the cost price calculation and develop corresponding risk budgets;Prepare cashflow analyses for cost price reviews and provide input during internal cost review sessions;Take responsibility for cost price calculations and pricing schedules towards the client;Coordinate all required input from relevant departments into the cost estimates;Collaborate with the Procurement Department to manage supplier and subcontractor quotations, analyse proposals, and facilitate selection based on best value and compliance with project requirements;Produce additional financial and cost reports as required for internal cost and sales reviews;Identify areas of concern during tender phases and advise on mitigation measures;Upon contract award, work with Project Controllers and Project Managers to establish cost control reports based on approved cost estimates;Support, guide, and train Junior Cost Estimators within the project team;Contribute to the development and maintenance of N-Sea’s central cost database and overall cost estimation methodology;Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technical Business Administration;Affinity with the Maritime or Offshore industry is a strong advantage;Strong analytical, curious, and logical mindset;Proactive attitude with the ability to perform under pressure.Flexible approach to working both independently and within project teams.Pragmatic, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.Open to new ideas and capable of assessing and explaining their practical impact to colleagues.Commercial awareness with the ability to understand strategic implications of decisions.Goal-oriented, consistent in achieving results, and eager to identify and pursue new opportunities.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.A great team of passionate and professional colleagues.A supportive and inclusive work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.The chance to be part of a company that values innovation, sustainability, and teamwork.About N-SeaN-Sea is an integrated total subsea solutions provider in Survey, UXO ID& Disposal IRM & Construction, Subsea Cable Repair & Installation.
