The position
As a IT Service Manager at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects along the years, based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking, Fintech, Telco, Retail, Sports and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
As an IT Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the technical infrastructure across multiple sites in Central Europe. You will ensure all IT systems' availability, security, and performance, including servers, networks, and data centers. The role is a hybrid of insourced and outsourced activities, where you will lead the transition toward a fully outsourced model. In this dynamic and challenging role, you'll balance hands-on technical execution and leadership.
- Technical Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day technical management of our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of systems and services.
- Hands-On Execution: Take an active role in executing technical tasks, applying your expertise in IT management and ensuring smooth operation.
- Single Point of Contact (SPOC): Serve as the central contact for IT-related matters across our European sites, handling escalations and aligning business activities with IT needs.
- Collaboration: Manage software licensing agreements and collaborate with international teams to ensure consistency and efficiency in IT operations across sites.
- Service Excellence: Establish, monitor, and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure all service providers meet performance and operational expectations.
- Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with multiple IT service providers, managing contracts, finances, technology requirements, and ongoing service level agreements.
- Asset Management: Manage and maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, ensuring compliance and operational readiness.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for service improvements, driving efficiencies and innovation across the organization's IT systems and operation
What you bring to the position
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years in an IT coordination/Service Management role or a similar position, with strong experience in managing IT infrastructure.
- Deep knowledge of IT tools, operating systems, internet protocol suites, and overall IT infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Fluent in English (required); proficiency in Spanish or German is a plus.
