You can be part of our team As the Team Lead Applications at Damen Naval, you will lead a team of Functional and Technical Application Managers responsible for ensuring optimal performance of IT applications. You will focus on fostering a collaborative team environment, aligning capacity planning with individual strengths and ambitions, and delegating tasks effectively. By liaising with IT and business departments, you'll ensure your team delivers high-quality solutions that meet organizational needs. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of Functional and Technical Application Managers, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Oversee the design, development, integration, and lifecycle management of IT applications, stepping in only for escalation. Act as the primary point of contact for collaboration with other IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with functional and non-functional requirements. Manage vendor relationships to ensure services align with team and organizational goals. Lead recruitment efforts and actively support your team's professional development. Demonstrated ability in leading and coaching teams of skilled professionals, creating a collaborative and productive work culture. Exceptional people management skills to inspire and guide team members in achieving their goals. Proficiency in managing vendor relationships and staying ahead of industry trends to drive innovation. Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
