JOB: HR Business Partner. French speaking
This is an interim position, starting in Jan/Feb 2025 for 6 Months.
Maternity Leave cover with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Workforce Planning and Alignment:
Collaborate closely with district managers and retail stakeholders to assess staffing needs, maintain an optimal workforce, and align HR strategies with the evolving retail landscape.
Talent Acquisition and Development:
Develop recruitment strategies tailored to the unique demands of the Belgium region's retail industry. Implement training and development programs to enhance the skills of our retail staff. Performance Management and Payroll: Oversee the performance appraisal process, working closely with district managers to ensure fair and accurate performance reviews. Additionally, participate in the payroll lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate compensation to maintain high morale.
Employee Relations:
Act as a responsive point of contact for retail employees in the region, addressing their concerns and resolving conflicts promptly to maintain a positive work environment.
HR Compliance:
Stay abreast of labor laws and regulations specific to Belgium region. Ensure the company's full compliance to minimize risks. Benefits and Compensation Optimization: Collaborate with district managers and stakeholders to design and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages that motivate employees and keep pace with the changing retail landscape. Data Analysis and Metrics: Utilize data and analytics to make data-driven HR decisions. Monitor and analyze key HR metrics to provide actionable insights that boost business performance and employee engagement.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Emphasize the importance of cross-functional collaboration within the organization and the need to work closely with other departments or HR teams. Technology Proficiency: BambooHR and MS office
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or HR certification is a plus). Fluent in French communications Proven HRBP experience, preferably in the retail sector in the region. Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, Belgium Labor law, and regulations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at building effective working relationships with district managers and stakeholders. Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Data-driven mindset with expertise in HR analytics. Proactive and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
