We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and we are looking for candidates who share that same commitment.Zorg ervoor dat u de volgende details zorgvuldig leest voordat u solliciteert.Summary Of The RoleAs a member of the Packaging Division, you will be responsible for the plant in Maastricht, Netherlands with all operating areas including e.g. supply chain, planning, manufacturing, staging, quality, repair services and distribution. The role focuses also on providing vision, leadership and NBS Next coaching to subordinated employees and teams to create a high-performance culture with an owner-mindset and winning teams. The position reports to the Global Operations Director and includes leadership over roughly 50 people.Role And ResponsibilitiesOverseeing and responsible for the operational organization including planning, manufacturing, assembly, staging, warehouse/logistic, quality and repair services as well as external partnersFull assets and plant P&L responsibility for the facility including develop, forecast and management of the budget; initiate and coordinate action plans to drive profitable growth and manage costsDrive operational excellence in order to ensure customer delivery dates, improve relevant KPI’s, reduce waste/costs/OTD/COPQ, enhance product qualityEnabling continuous improvement taking into account new manufacturing technologies, organizational forms, manufacturing methods and order to cash processes.Ensure QEHS in the organization as the highest priorityWork cross functionally with sales and businessProvide vision and leadership, empowering organization to take full functional responsibility and ownership for performance and resultsHire, develop and coach the team to meet/exceed operational goals and metrics, create winning teamsResponsible for overseeing performance management, talent development, I&D, and training process of the organizationActively implement cellular manufacturing and pulling & kanban systemSkills And QualificationsUniversity degree in Operations, Engineering or similar10+ years experience and deep understanding in operational processes within manufacturing industry with a focus on growth and operational excellenceLeadership experience with a focus on managing high performing operational teamsComprehensive change and project management experience, focus on automatization and digitalization, lean management experience, Six Sigma is essential“Getting things done” attitude and an inclusive leadership styleHigh leadership and coaching skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changesPractical knowledge in management-systems (ISO-9001, ISO-14001 etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English, Dutch, German nice to have)High proficiency in critical technologies (MS Office, SAP, Power BI, CRM tools, etc.)Willingness to travel / relocate within EuropeBenefitsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth and development.About Nordson Adhesive Dispensing SystemsAt Nordson Adhesive Dispensing Systems, we understand that diversity and inclusion are vital to our success, and we are committed to fostering a culture of belonging for all employees. xbpjoel We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome candidates of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to apply.#INDEED
